The Hidden Labyrinth at The Sanctuary
Some places are dramatic the moment you arrive. Others are much quieter and seem to reveal themselves slowly.
The Sanctuary at Avebury was like that for me.
It sits within an extraordinary landscape, close to Avebury, Silbury Hill and the West Kennet Avenue, but compared with the great stones at Avebury it can seem quite understated. Today, what you see are markers showing where circles of timber posts and stones once stood.
I had been there before, but on this particular visit I went in with my dowsing rods and asked a very simple question:
“Please show me what I need to know.”
Dragon Energy in the Earth
There are some moments that seem small when they happen, but later you realise they changed the direction of everything.
For me, one of those moments happened in a labyrinth in the woods at the end of my garden.
I had received what felt like a clear inner instruction to build a labyrinth there.
It was a simple three-circuit path made from leaves, held within a little temple of trees.
I had already been exploring labyrinths, sacred geometry, dowsing and the subtle relationship between people and place.
But dragons were not yet part of that story.
Clear Your Busy Mind: Reach a Zen State in 60 Seconds
Ever wish you could hit a mental reset button in the middle of a hectic day? The Gamut Technique - a simple tapping and eye movement method - does just that. I like to think of it as “flushing the brain loo of thoughts.” 🚽💭
Journey Through Labyrinths: A Personal Tale of Design and Discovery 🌿
I remember the first time a labyrinth's mystique captivated me. It was more than just a maze-like path; it was a journey inwards
Ever since my first Labyrinth journey, I have sought them out wherever I go! The designs, the feeling of inner peace, of deepening within, the nature all around, inspired me to design and build my own in woodland at the end of my garden
Teaching with the wonderful Thames Valley Dowsers this summer, at the Global Retreat Centre in Oxfordshire, I shared this fascination. The labyrinth, more than a structure, became a shared story
Are your hearthspace and heartspace connected?
I am so grateful for having Reiki in my life. This morning I connected, grounded and placed my hands across my heartspace, in the centre of my chest, ready to channel Reiki energy.
Funny, when writing this, I misspelled heartspace as hearthspace, and that is the heart of the home usually, isn't it? The place we would gather round and connect, staring into the flames of the fire, sitting side by side, sharing or storytelling.
How many of us do that nowadays? We have so many other things to 'do', endless tick lists and projects, or streaming content to wade through, whereas sitting by the fire and looking into the flames is a form of 'be'-ing, not 'do'-ing…
Business Soul Alignment | Align Your Business with Your Purpose
When Your Business Begins to Reflect Who You Truly Are
Many people begin a business with passion, creativity and a genuine desire to bring something meaningful into the world.
Over time, though, the practical demands of running a business can start to pull attention away from that original spark. Marketing, systems, finances, client expectations and the pressure to keep everything moving can gradually shape the business in ways that no longer feel completely aligned.
The business may still look as though it is functioning perfectly well from the outside, yet something can feel slightly out of tune.
Perhaps the direction no longer feels as clear. Perhaps an offer has lost its energy. Perhaps the way you are communicating your work no longer reflects who you are now.
This is where the idea of Business Soul Alignment becomes valuable.

In such moments, a holistic approach can serve as a guiding light, illuminating the way to finding the unwavering sense of certainty we yearn for. Today, I invite you on a transformative journey, where we will explore how a holistic coach can help you discover certainty in an uncertain world.
Healing a Historic Home Unexpectedly
Recently I visited a rather special historic house, open to the public. The gardens are absolutely superb. The house itself is stunningly beautiful. When I went upstairs into a bedroom, it struck me how much sadness was in the room.
The energy felt dense and pulling, the emotion of sadness was super strong.
I asked permission to consciously connect with the energy of the house, then went on to enquire as to what the cause of this sadness and heavy energy could be.
Healing a home in an unusual way
Recently a client asked for support in their home as appliances and even the boiler had stopped working. It was getting so common for things to break down it was more than coincidence. It was also becoming rather expensive, as well as disruptive!
After asking for permission to remotely check in on the home, I connected with it and felt that the home itself was out of kilter with the people living there. They are such a lovely family and both parents are involved in the healing arts.
It turned out that the original builder of the home was an angry person and their energy went into the bricks and mortar as the house was being built. This vibration was no longer able to harmonise with the more elevated vibrations of the occupants, so some house healing was required…
How to prepare for an interview, new project, big meeting or presentation with confidence
n my work with clients, I often use simple techniques that can help people feel more grounded, confident and resourceful before an important moment.
One particularly accessible technique is the Circle of Excellence, drawn from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). It can be useful before an interview, presentation, difficult conversation, new project or any situation where you would like to reconnect with a particular inner quality - perhaps confidence, calmness, focus or creativity.
Are you ready to make a change to become more fulfilled?
My friend has recently left this big company. Over the last 18 months he has had a sad experience of shutting down a once vibrant, friendly and fun office. He has gone from once having a spring in his step going to work to struggling to get out of bed. Finding any motivation was tough. He felt grumpy and it increasingly affected his mood. Feeling frustrated, he felt his life force dulled.
Thankfully, he also has always managed to find a way to have a positive outlook, despite the circumstances around him. He dreamt of a better way of being, recognising his innate skills and gifts he could share with his industry. He and a business partner talked about combining their skills to offer something special to the world.
How to get into a '"Flow" state and feel in harmony with your surroundings
Have you ever had one of those days when everything just seems to flow?
You feel present, connected and somehow in tune with yourself and what is happening around you. Things still need doing, but they don't feel quite so effortful. You may find that you make decisions more easily, move from one thing to another naturally and have a sense of being in the right place at the right time.
Sometimes that feeling lasts for only a few moments. Sometimes it stays with us for hours, or even most of a day.
For me, flow isn't really about becoming more productive. It is more about coherence - when our inner state, our environment and the way we are moving through the day begin to work together rather than pulling in different directions.
Do you feel stuck in some way?
Sometimes there isn't one obvious thing wrong.
You may have a job that pays the bills but no longer gives you much joy. Perhaps your heart simply isn't in it anymore.
You might feel as though you are constantly moving from one task to the next - work, home, responsibilities, emails, things that need sorting - and occasionally find yourself wondering, is this really how I want life to feel?
Or perhaps there is a quieter sense that something is missing, but you can't quite put your finger on what it is.
You know that something needs to change. You just don't necessarily know what that change looks like yet.
That feeling can actually be a useful place to begin.
The Chrysalis Moment - When Life Is Transforming You
Periods of change can feel uncertain while we are living through them. The chrysalis offers a powerful metaphor for transformation and the gentle unfolding of who we are becoming.
